Condolences
Hi Cindy, Karen, Debbie and Rick
Sending love from Boston. It was such a gift to spend time with your Mom at Christopher & Amber's wedding. We just watched the videos of her and Jeff is smiling. Jeff says he always appreciated Rose's direct words and advice, along with the Ukrainian twinkle in her eye. What a remarkable life she lived and example for others, to love deeply, inspire each other and celebrate often. And we could use some help with the Ukrainian traditions she passed on.
Love Jeff and Carolyn xoxo
Dear Karen, Cindy, Debbie, Rick, and families,
Our hearts were saddened by the news of Rose’s passing. We have such fond memories going way, way back to the first night I spent in Roblin. I was invited to stay with your family until my place was ready. Ron and I have been reminiscing about all the great times we shared: camping, travelling, fishing, playing cards, and many many more. We were always made to feel welcome and a part of family events. My special memories were curling with Rose, especially the bonspiels and creating our special costumes.
Always our memories of Rose were how caring and welcoming she was, how important her family and traditions were and her love of life. Her laugh was infectious! I can still hear the laughter and arguments she and Ron shared over who caught the biggest or the most fish.
There will be a void left by her passing, but we can keep her spirit alive by sharing our special memories. May the Lord grant you strength as you pass through this most difficult time.
Dear Rose may you Rest In Peace.
Karen,Cindy,Debbie,Rick:
What a wonderful life your mom lived. The best legacy we can leave is exactly what your mom left—a life well lived, a family much loved, cherished friends and friendships all tied together with many enduring and positive memories.
Gaye and I remember your mom as a very good friend, a kind hearted person who was always ready for a new adventure, a kindred soul and a person always ready with that infectious laugh.
We will miss her dearly but be content in the knowledge that she is in a much better place now that she is able to reunite with Orest.

Karen, Cindy, Debbie and Rick. I have so many fond memories of your Mom including the morning coffee gatherings back in the day with Rose, Mom, Nanny, Marie and Liz. Thinking of you all ❤️.
Always remember what great neighbors we had in Roblin. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Hang tightly to the wonderful memories.

My condolences to the entire family. Had lots of chuckles with your folks over the years, great memories of Orest giving me that who are you trying to kid look and Roses laugh. All the best
My sympathy to all Rose’s family. Such good memories of her and your Dad from those Roblin years.
Some of my very earliest memories are of watching "The Edge of Night" soap opera with Rose when she looked after my sister and I when our mom went back to work...
When we were a gang of kids on Hospital and Park Streets in Roblin, the Ziolkoski's was a favorite spot. Rose was always so kind and welcoming and put up with us converging to watch tv when Roblin got cable, or to play board games or "kick the can".
She was always interested in what was going on with us and loved to tease :).
Later in life it was always nice catching up with her and I still have my notes from when she taught me how to make her amazing borscht!
Our condolences to you Karen, Cindy, Deb & Rick and families, you have been in our thoughts.
Love from Don Landry and family.
I have fond memories of meeting Rose many times. I specifically remember her smile, her vibrant laugh and her sense of humour. When she picked me and my daughters up at the bus station ( yes, bus station!) when we were visiting Deb about 7 summers ago , she talked so much that I had to remind her to keep her foot on the gas as we kept slowing down. She made us feel accepted, comfortable and very welcome. It is so obvious how much she loved and cherished her family. Condolences to her dear children, grandchildren, family members and friends. Xo
