Condolences
So sorry for your loss. I personally did not know Kate well but I do know she was well liked and thought of by my husband (Butch), Marie's cousin.
It was a lovely service that helped me to know Kate a little better.
Deepest sympathy and condolences.
Albert (Butch) and Elizabeth Johnson
The service for Kate was lovely and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I wish them comfort and peace.
Kate was a life long friend and I feel blessed to have had her in my life for all these years. She was witty, creative and beautiful, and together we shared a passion for the dramatic arts. She was a talented actress and one of my fondest memories was seeing her perform in a local (Victoria, B.C.) production of Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit".
We sure will miss her.

Howard and I are so sorry to hear of Kate's passing. Being an older cousin I was lucky enough to remember how happy Marie & Len were when they adopted Kate. She was always a happy, beautiful baby. As Kate got older her beauty grew. It wasn't only her lovely features (those wonderful brown eyes and her smile) but her quit gentle manner. When Kate had a conversation with you there was no doubt that she was listening and really cared about what you were saying. A rare quality. We will cherish our memories of Kate.
Our sympathies to Kate's family Hailey & John (and family), Wyatt (and family), Sean & Charlene (Angus), Donny, Dan & Brenda (and family).
I'm glad that we could part take in the wonderful tribute to Kate.
Rest in Peace Kate.
Howard & Theresa Slater
I have wonderful memories of Kate. As a younger cousin she always treated me well. Spoiled me, made sure I was included and having fun. She was so kind, clever and generous. Her family was very important to her. I hope wonderful memories will help us all through difficult times. Sending love to the family.

Thank you for sharing Kates service on line. It was a beautiful service in memory of cousin Kate. I’ll miss her forever, her spirit and our memories together will live on. RIP Kate
Hi family of Kate,
I wanted to send my condolences from across the ocean. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I hope nothing but the best for the rest of you.
I only knew Kate in a professional manner for the last 5 years. She was always looking out for me as I was a new employee and she had been working there for years. She was very selfless person and wanted her customers and her colleagues to have an amazing day whether it was getting a great deal at The Brick or elsewhere. She was the most knowledgeable person I knew and always helped me no matter how busy she was and asked for nothing in return other than to make sure that I take care of all of my customers as well as she took care of hers. She made my work experience there so amazing and I will continue to help customers and colleagues in a similar fashion.
My thoughts and prayers with everyone who reads this, especially during this difficult time. She will be sorely missed, but it’s Kate’s time to Rest In Peace.
Kam
