Obituary of Pamela (Pam) Gail IVERSEN

Pam Iversen of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at the age of 70 years.

 

Pam was born in Calgary, AB, on July 8, 1950. Pam accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her career with the Rocky View School Division, as a procurement agent, where she concurrently worked for and achieved a degree from the University of Calgary. Pam had a passion for all animals, but particularly for raising her Norwegian Forest Cats, which she referred to as “Wegies”. She was a member of the Southern Alberta Cat Fanciers. Pam’s most memorable vacations were when she went to Mexico and Hawaii.  

 

Pam is survived by her only brother and sister-in-law, Rod and Heather Iversen residing near Ottawa, ON, their three children and four grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins and friends. She was especially close to her cousin and his wife, George and Lila Senecal, and their three sons, notably Mark; also very close was Marty Boogaart’s family, whose three children affectionately considered her their “Aunty”.

 

Pam was predeceased by her father Ross Iversen, and mother Agnes Iversen (Bunney).

 

A Graveside Service will be held at Queens Park Cemetery (3219 4 Street NW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
