Obituary of Lori Marie LANG

Lori Marie Lang of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at the age of 49 years.

Lori was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Lori left a lasting mark on everyone she came into contact with through her kind heart and warm smile. She was known as “Mama Lang” to many of the kids that had grown up in the community, as she took on the role of mother for her own children, as well as any of their friends that ever walked through her door. She put being a mom above anything else in her life, starting her business to make sure she always had the flexibility to be there for her children. She was a proud business owner for over 25 years and took pride in her work. Many of her clients soon became close friends due to her fun loving, yet hard working nature. She never failed to make others laugh, even during the worst situations through her radiating smile and witty personality. She will forever be remembered for her positive, easy-going mentality and genuine care for everyone around her.

Lori is survived by a daughter and two sons, Amanda Lang, Steven Lang (Tapanga Hynes), and Tyler Lang (Jensen Moroz); her parents, Mary and Paul Lang; a brother and sister-in-law Tim and Joan Lang; and a sister Nancy Giustini. Lori is also survived by her nieces, Katherine Giustini and Stephanie Giustini.  Lori was predeceased by her brother Leslie.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY. A Celebration of Life for all of Lori’s family and friends will be held at a later date and will be updated here when the date and time has been determined. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
