Condolences
Brenda, Trish & Family,
Please accept our condolences on the passing of your Mother 'Pat'. She & Bill were our neighbours in Harvie Heights for at least 20 years before their move to Calgary. Pat was a busy lady entertaining, & with her volunteer work. She hosted many events & parties in Harvie Heights & was an excellent neighbour to us. Christmas in July was an amazing time & such fun! We missed Pat & Bill after they moved to Calgary & will always remember their frienship.

Brenda and Tricia,
Deepest condolences in the loss of your mother. She was a vibrant, determined and buoyant woman who helped so many folks in her life, despite having her own challenges to contend with. Her charitable spirit defined her life. I have lovely memories of her bringing baskets of homemade goodies to my grandmother more than 60 years ago. She appeared like a fairy godmother when we were overwhelmed with twins 39 years ago, and she arrived with one of her wonderful casseroles and a plan to help for the day. She always looked beautiful, right into her 90's, which is no small feat. May your memories of her kind spirit comfort you in this difficult time.
Love, Brenda
Dear Brenda and Patricia,
We are so sorry to hear that you have lost your mum. Auntie Pat was such a fixture in our childhoods. We will never forget our first time at Camp Inuspi - on the Sunday, parents were supposed to come and take their kids for the day. Ours were in Calgary, and as all our fellow campers left, we were feeling a bit bereft - and then Auntie Pat swooped in, grabbed us both in a big hug and whisked us off to Waterton. We were never so happy to see anyone in our lives. Brenda, I am not sure, but I think you didn't come to Inuspi until the following year. But you were both in Waterton - it was a rainy, cold day, so your dad set up a projector and we watched The Beverly Hillbillies. In the meantime, your mum was in the kitchen, cooking a wonderful meal, which ended with homemade Saskatoon pie. We have so many wonderful memories of Waterton - do you remember when our parents all went to a party a few doors down?. While they were gone, we tried to get the deer on the wall to smoke a cigarette. His nose has never been the same since. We saw your mum quite often in Calgary too in the early years - she often stayed with us when Patricia was being seen by doctors. Much later we saw her several times when she was doing her fantastic committee work with the Alberta government. She often stayed with our parents then too - and it was a treat to see her. She was a tour de force.
Love, Tracey and Susan (Alix sends her condolences too)
