Condolences
Marlene, Gord, Rae & family, I’m so sorry to hear the loss of Dave. My heart is broken for you all. The saying “Sorry for your loss” doesn’t cut it in my world….my thoughts, prayers and so much love are with you all at this time, please remember Dave’s gone, but nobody will ever take away all your special memories (nor mine). Love you and thinking of you all!
We are so sad to hear of our brother in law’s passing. I have some fond & funny memories of visiting with Dave & my sissy Marlene. As a truck driver he was on the road lots. Once when I was little I went to visit with mom & dad. Dave was leaving to go on the road & I was so busy playing with friends I didn’t get to say goodbye. Mom was so upset when she found me that I got a smack….lol. I remember the peanut butter & jam cold toast sandwiches. Memories of camping in Banff. The way he grabbed his shirt pocket out of habit when he quit smoking. Later on, as an adult I remember how concerned he was when me & two of our sisters stayed in a hotel in a bad area of the city when we went to see the Brier. That was our first & most memorable curling trip ever. Dave liked to have his little bowl of snacks before he went to bed for the night… not too long after supper. I think it was cashews?? He would start to snore in his chair & get sent to bed….lol. We hope you are resting now Dave & we know that momma will take care of you. Love your outlaws <3
So heartbroken to hear of Uncle Dave's passing. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to Aunty, Gord, Rae & the family. Rest In Peace Uncle Dave.
Love, Candy & Terry
Marlene, Gord and Ray - so very sorry to see Dave has passed away. Sincere condolences to you and your extended family too. May each other’s company and warm family memories get you through this difficult time .
Ron and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. He has been our neighbour for many years. As we got to know him on our "street visits," we found him to be kind, gentle and caring, always asking how we were doing and keeping a eye on our house. He loved to talk about cars with Ron and never hesitated to stop and chat. The world would be a better place with more like Dave. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Marlene, Gord, Rae and all of Dave's extended family. He lived with dignity and purpose. Hold all those memories tight. In our thoughts and prayers as you grieve this loss during these challenging times.
