Obituary of Lorraine Elva BIRNIE (nee Parkin)

 June 13, 1937 – June 22, 2021 

Lorraine Birnie, beloved wife of the late Thomas Birnie, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the age of 84 years.

Lorraine attended Crescent Heights High School and graduated from SAIT as a Laboratory Technician. She married Thomas Birnie and they lived in Lakeview for over fifty years. Lorraine was an accomplished bridge player and was particularly proud of becoming a Life Master in 2007. She was also an avid gardener and spent countless hours in her backyard tending her plants. Lorraine’s most memorable vacations were her trips to Maui with her husband Tom.

Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Thomas Birnie, and parents, Betty and Gordon Parkin.
