Obituary of Erlinda (Linda) Agoncillo ALVAREZ

April 1, 1931 – Taal Batangas, Philippines
June 28, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Erlinda (Linda) Agoncillo Alvarez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Linda was born in Taal Batangas, Philippines and was raised in Quezon City, Philippines. Shortly after Linda and Cecil married, they moved and built their family in Zamboanga City, Philippines. She was a full-time housewife and mom. She will be greatly missed by her three kids, Tony, Cecilyn and Ammy; her in-laws Nelson, Archie and Mylene; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Abby, Mark and Dasha Ann. 

Linda will be remembered as a lady of strong faith and always putting her family first. She was very caring, and put everyone before herself.
 
Linda moved to Calgary, Canada, when her husband Cecil passed away in 2010 to be with her daughters.  She will be forever loved and remembered by all her family and friends. 

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join Mrs. Alvarez’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
