Obituary of Joyce PARSONS

Joyce Parsons of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

Joyce was a graduate of the Calgary General Hospital Nursing program and received further training in England in Neonatal nursing. Upon returning to the CGH ICN she worked as staff nurse and manager until retirement. Joyce was an active member of the CGH alumnae. She was humorous, a lover of books, music, live theatre, photography, and local sports. She will be remembered for influencing her staff and family to be caring and supportive of one another. Her love and laughter will be missed by friends and family. 

Joyce is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Lorna Parsons and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and spouses. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Margaret Parsons, and parents, Bill and Minnie Parsons.

Private services will be held at a further time.
