Obituary of Brenda Therese SERPENTINI

Brenda Serpentini, beloved wife of the late Enzo Serpentini, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the age of 61 years.
Born in Saskatoon, SK, Brenda shared a loving upbringing with her nine siblings, mother, and father. In her teenage years, she relocated to Calgary, AB, where she met and fell in love with Enzo Serpentini. In 1993, they married and settled down in a house in Brentwood, providing the foundation to start their family.
Brenda was a proud and active member of Canadian Martyrs Parish, where she served her community in various key roles, making many lifelong friends. She dedicated over twelve years of her life illuminating lives around her with her committed work at the popular candle company Partylite.
Brenda loved travelling and had a special connection with the nature around her, which materialized greatly into her passion for gardening. Brenda smiled the brightest visiting places like Hawaii or her husband's hometown in Italy with their children.
Her sense of values and morality were strikingly apparent to anyone who met her. She carried herself in a way that could only bring joy to those that crossed her path - a joy that will leave a lasting influence on the world she left behind.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Lia Serpentini, and son Gino Serpentini, of Calgary, AB. She is also survived by nine siblings: her brothers, Bert Jr., Kenton, Bill, and Tim; and sisters, Maryanne, Wanda, Connie, Bev, and Alanna; as well as her mother Jean Dean, who raised her to be such an amazing, loving daughter. Brenda was predeceased by her husband Enzo Serpentini and father Bert Dean.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Dr. NW, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
