Obituary of Rory Albert BULL

February 29, 1976 – Wetaskewin, Alberta

July 11, 2021 – Edmonton, Alberta

Rory Bull of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the age of 45 years.

Rory was a happy person to be around loved to sing round dance and pow wow. When he was a young boy he and his brother use to practice with sticks and a box for a drum. He always talked about his kids and always expressed how much he loved them and how he would teach them to sing and live the red road. He was always making people that crossed his path either smile or laugh. He loved participating in the sweats and other cultural events. He never missed an opportunity when life threw it at him. He liked helping people and was always a people person and always optimistic and loved to joke around, and was a humble man.

Rory is survived by his step-mother Doreen Rowan, his children, Tyron Cutarm, Shakia Coyote and Chavez Coyote; sisters, Crystal (Kevin) Starlight and Milly Rowan; brothers, Albert (Breezy) Rowan and Gilbert Paul; his nephews and nieces, Johnny, Dusty, Rosie, Dwanye, Precious Starlight, Alexandra, Alberta Rowan, Jaycene Howard, Lance Labelle, and Amy Okeymow; the family apologizes if we missed anyone.  

Rory was predeceased by grandparents, father Albert Rowan, mother Linda Marylin Bull, sisters, Cindy Okeymow, Debbie Okeymow, Rosalyn Okeymow, Albertina Okeymow, Jolene Bull, Christine Brother Dwayne Bull and Lance Frederick Paul; as well as numerous relatives.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Crystal Bull (101 Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at the residence of Crystal Bull (101 Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Drive-by Reception will be held at Bullhead Hall (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) immediately following the graveside.
