Obituary of Frances FANDINO (nee McKay)

July 13, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Frances Fandino, beloved wife of José Luis Fandiño, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the age of 74 years.

Frances was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 4, 1947. She moved to Calgary, AB, in 1968. Frances married José Luis Fandiño in December 1969. She accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of her family. Frances enjoyed reading, had a passion for traveling and put family first, always! Her most memorable vacation was when she visited Río Hondo - Santiago del Estero, Argentina. She will be most remembered for her friendship, humour, baking and dancing.

Besides her loving husband José, Frances is survived by her son Daniel, daughter and son-in law, Carmen and Martin; grandchildren, Víctor and Sébastien; sisters, Rena, Rosemary and Veronica; and brother, Gerard McKay.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive NE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
