To the Zeoli family, Sister Elisa and family members,
Zia Marietta was a lovely lady and we have fond memories of the many visits that she and Zio Nick made to Vancouver. We unfortunately were not able to come to Calgary due to current times, but enjoyed the service that was streamed (thanks to technology) which made us feel like we were present. We enjoyed viewing the photos that were posted. We hope the precious memories that you will always carry in your heart will help you through this time.
Our deepest condolences to all and may Marietta rest in peace along with all of this wonderful generation of men and women who have predeceased her. May God Bless everyone and stay safe!
Hugs from her cousin Maddalena DeCesare, Gina Huston, Lina DeLuca & families.
Our condolences to all. You are in our thoughts. She will be missed

~~ Rest In Peace ~~
To Nina, Linda and Nancy,
I will cherish the many trips our families shared together- Disneyland, Hawaii, Penticton and particularly our 4 week excursion to Mexico. My sister and I ordered fish everyday, and nearly forgot how to cook.
Maria, Compare Nicola and I were fortunate to see tenor Luciano Pavorotti in concert at the Saddledome. We all enjoyed that evening very much!
We were as close as sisters could be, being only 2 years apart.
I will miss you and think of you everyday.
God Bless you Maria, Rest in Peace
Your loving sister Elisa
To Nina, Linda and Nancy:
I have fond memories of Zia Marietta. She often made special dinners for our family, and also solely for me, if my parents were out of town. Thinking of others was her trademark.
Our shopping excursion at the Bay comes to mind. With her slim physique, every dress she tried fit her perfectly. She couldn't decide between 2 dresses, so in the end, she bought them both. What fun!
Zia Marietta was a great storyteller too, and I will miss the many jokes from the old country (le barzellette) she shared with us.
Condolences to all of the Family,
Liliana
To Nina, Linda and Nancy,
I will miss Zia Marietta.
Being my mother’s sister, our families were very close and we did so much together.
Between socializing, vacationing, working and even living near each other, our families were always intertwined.
I will miss making Calzonetti every Christmas at her house. I will miss her jokes, that were always at the ready,
and her unique laughter that inevitably followed. She hosted numerous dinner parties but what comes to mind now is the New Years Day dinner, where for many years, everyone was invited. It started the year off right.
She cared very much for others and cared deeply what others thought of her. I know the last few years have
been difficult but it made me so happy when I got that smile of recognition each time I saw her.
I will miss her.
With love
Gina
