Obituary of Anne Catherine ARMER

April 14, 1958 – Middlesbrough, England  
July 17, 2021 – Carstairs, Alberta

Anne Armer, beloved wife of Barry Armer, of Carstairs, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 63 years.

Anne was born in Middlesbrough, England on April 14, 1958. She later moved to the city of York, in the county of Yorkshire, England, where she took up nursing as a profession. She met Barry in 1976 and they were married in June 1980.

Anne accomplished much through her life and was particularly proud of raising two wonderful boys, Jonathan and Christopher. Anne and Barry moved up to the Lake District, Cumbria, eventually settling in Workington. Anne enjoyed the outdoors and loved going for family outings walking in the countryside.

Anne and Barry immigrated to Canada in 2010, eventually settling in the town of Carstairs, Alberta, continuing her passion for the outdoors she took up camping in a Travel-Trailer where they set up on a permanent site at the Rosewood Resort Campground, Sundre. For Anne, this was known as her “Happy Place”.

Anne’s passion has always been the family, and there was no prouder moment for her when Jonathan (Meeta) and Christopher (Sharon) gave her three glorious grandsons (with another child on the way).

She will be most remembered for her passion for life, she was always up beat and would help anyone.

Besides her loving husband Barry, Anne is survived by her two sons, Jonathan and wife Meeta, with their 2 sons Kieren and Hari; Christopher and his partner Sharon, and their son Thomas (with another child on the way). Anne is also survived by her sister Gillian, with her family Jennifer, and son Edward and his partner Anastasia, and daughter Victoria and her husband Oliver and their sons, Zach and Alex.
