Condolences
I was sad to discover you had left us. It was a pleasure for Maggie and I to count you among our friends even though it is over 30 years since we left Calgary, having got to know you through the Rocky Mountain Ramblers and Scottish country dancing. You led such a full and active life. Just so sad that failing faculties contrived to deprive you of that in your final years.

My sincere condolences to the family from a fellow dancer. Christine Browne
My sincere condolences to the family.
Isa was a sweet, charming and gentle lady whose smile could light up a room.
Rest in peace; Isa.

Our condolences to all the family in Scotland, and all friends of Isa in Calgary.
We enjoyed Isa's company very much, she led us on many camping trips, and even tried to teach me (Anne) how to downhill ski. Also tried to teach us how to dance, not much luck though. Lots of fun being with her, she had a wonderful voice and we always enjoyed her singing at Ramblers events. Great to have known her.

I first met Isa in 1966 in the Rocky Mountain Ramblers. We enjoyed many hikes and car camping trips with the club and I particularly recall when sang together at Echo Lake. I was on a camping trip that she organized at Mara Lake which includes swimming as well as hiking. At Waterton Isa and I rented a small row boat and had trouble getting back through the narrows against a stiff wind. Thank you Isa for being a friend.

I had the opportunity to spend some time with Isa over the last few months. She shared stories of some of her many adventures in travel and activities with the Rocky Mountain Ramblers. She often said how much she had enjoyed her life and loved the freedom she felt to travel and enjoyed her driving holidays. She was now content to leave this world after a life well spent.

What a great life my Auntie had. I remember her coming on our summer holidays when we went camping. Up in the Highlands or down in England. Always singing songs and telling stories. When in Scotland she loved to meet all the family and friends and loved a party. Will be sadly missed. Love and condolences to all her friends and family.
Isa will be missed by us all,my dad spoke fondly of her and loved his 2 trips with my mum to Canada. So glad she had such a great life and loved her time in Calgary.Having a close circle of friends helped too, and she spoke often about them.
It was good that she made it over for my dad’s 80th and she got to meet all her extended family.
We all send our love and best wishes.
Sandra and Brian xx
