Obituary of John Christopher MOTT

July 21, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

On Wednesday, July 21, 2021 John Christopher Mott, age 68, passed away after a diagnosis with Primary Progressive Aphasia and a lengthy battle with dementia. Friends and family of John will be saddened to hear of his death.

John will be remembered by his wife Michelle Bee and his stepdaughter Jessie Bee Williams of Calgary; his daughters, Amy of Edmonton and Lauren Mott of Calgary; grandson Rogan Mott, his brothers, Gary (Maxine) and Steven Mott of Calgary, as well his nieces and nephews.

John was a beloved husband, amazing father and a teacher with the Calgary Board of Education for twenty-five years. John loved the years teaching at Henry Wisewood High School teasing kids and making them laugh. John’s passions were woodworking, golfing, sailing and our trips to England. John will be cremated and set to rest in the Union Cemetery in Calgary. In accordance with John’s wishes, there will be no service. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of John’s friends for their support and friendship.
