Obituary of Mary DeGusti
April 3, 1924 – Field, British Columbia
August 4, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta
After being blessed with 97 active, healthy, and happy years, Mary DeGusti passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
Nothing made Mary happier than her family and sharing her ever-famous baking. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Mario DeGusti in 1999.
Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Franca DeGusti of Calgary, AB; and her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Remo Marcucci of Calgary, AB. She will be sorely missed by her six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Berenice DeGusti, Lindsey and Trevor Kinsey, Danielle Marcucci and Adam Townley; and four great-grandchildren, Matteo and Sophia DeGusti, Briella and Liliana Kinsey. Mary is also survived by her sister Esther Cioni of Calgary, AB.
Mary has left us all with a lifetime of memories to share.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
