Condolences
So sorry to hear Candace! Years ago Ned was my "big brother" and wife Helen was my teacher at Ness. She was a wonderful person, kind and compassionate. We are better for having her in our lives
Mrs. Carnie was my 8th grade teacher at Lincoln school in the early 90s. She was a wonderful teacher, one of my favourites. She was always so calm and collected, even when kids were acting up. I’ve thought about her often over the years. Condolences to the family on your loss.
I was very lucky to meet Helen at Bedson School during my first years of teaching. She was just a wonderful person, beautiful, kind and full of humour. We all thought the world of her. My sincere condolences.
Helen was my teacher in Grade 8 and had a tremendous impact on me. When I was lost/ going through a tough family period in my life, she took me under her wing and helped me win a public speaking contest. By investing time in me to help me practise and believing in me and empowering me, she gave me something I truly needed that year to move forward in a positive direction. Truly a caring and kind person with a heart of gold. One of those really special teachers that definitely can have a tremendous impact on a student’s life! Thank u Helen!
I taught with Helen’s and admired and tried to emulate her positivity and her immense desire to encourage children to be their best. My children, as well had the good fortune to be in her classes. I have a container still of some of their artwork. She had touch so many and always to remembered.
