Obituary of Christopher Lyn Kille

January 30, 1979 – Fort Frances, Ontario

August 9, 2021 – Airdrie, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Lyn Kille, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, August 9, 2021.

Christopher was born on January 30, 1979. He grew up in Thunder Bay, ON, and attended Hammarskjold High School. After high school, Chris followed his sales career to Edmonton, where he moved with Joey, Rob and Tim. In 2005, Chris then moved to Grande Prairie, where he bought his first home and started his car sales career. Chris was a born salesman who had a natural ability to connect with people, and could sell religion to the Pope. When car sales slowed, Chris moved back to Edmonton to be closer to his brother and best friends. When he was not selling cars, he could be found in the gym bodybuilding. Sales work took Chris across Alberta, where he met Kathy. They settled in Airdrie after living throughout the province. Chris was very family-oriented and was excited that he was a grandpa to little Christian, who was a joy in his life.

Chris will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his loving daughters, Kierin (Dixion), and Trezah; brother Joey (Tanelle), father Rick (Kelly), grandson Christian, niece Hope, nephew Lincoln, special friend Kathy, and best friends, Rob, and Tim.

Chris was predeceased by his mother Diana, and maternal grandparents, John and Wanda Martinuzzi; and paternal grandparents, Les and Muriel Kille.

In living memory of Christopher Kille, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, AB T4B 3L8, Telephone: 403-948-1100.
