Obituary of Anna WETTER (nee Doucette)

March 18, 1927 – Leoville, Saskatchewan
July 19, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Anna Wetter, of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at the age of 94 years. 

Anna was born in Leoville, SK on March 18, 1927. She came from a family of fifteen, who enjoyed playing music and entertaining. Anna loved to dress well, dance, had a great sense of humor, was playful, generous, and was loved by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her daughter Nancy, sons, Mark and Alain; grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Anthony, Daniel, Ashleigh, and Austin; and great-grandchildren, Emmett, Amelia, and Hazel. 

Internment will be held at Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB, on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., where a blessing and memories will be shared. Procession will begin at 10:45 a.m. from the cemetery gate. Live streaming (here) is available for those not able to attend in person.

Anna’s favorite meal was pancakes. To honor her, the family will be going to iHOP - Deerfoot City NE immediately following the internment. Friends are welcome to join.

In  memoriam, Anna’s family asks for donations directly to Jay's Care Foundation  as Anna always had a deep love of the Toronto Blue Jay’s baseball team.
