Obituary of Mayiel Deng KIIR
June 9, 2001 - July 24, 2021
Mayiel Kiir of Chestermere, AB, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the age of 20 years.
Mayiel was born on June 9, 2001, in Khartoum, Sudan to parents, Michael Ring Mayen and Adakchin Ring. He attended Prairie Waters Elementary School, and St. Gabriel the Archangel School in Chestermere, AB.
Despite his short time on Earth, he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all those around him. Mayiel was the most beautiful person inside and out. He was always happy, full of bright energy, kind, neat, caring, positive, outgoing, inquisitive, and creative. He had a gift for making everyone feel accepted and was truly a loving human being, with a gentle soul. Mayiel will always be remembered for so many reasons; his fun unique personality, genuine love, and laughter that he shared with those closest to him. We are all so lucky and feel blessed to have had the privilege to know and love someone as special as him.
Mayiel will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.
