Condolences
I worked with Sharon for maybe 2-3 years. She was such a kind person. I guess we just became friends. We would have long talks on the phone often (I'd call her for advice on work matters and we'd just talk about that and everything else). I met her cat Dusty. I believe he's a Rag Doll and kind of a 'dusty' color haha. He was a gorgeous cat and we talked about animals a lot too (because we were both animal lovers). We took a day trip one summer just down to Okotoks but we had a really nice day and it was nice to spend the time with her in person. Another time, I took her for a real nice dinner for all the help she'd always given me with work matters. Sharon was always pleasant to be around; such a gentle soul. It'd been on my mind to call her since we hadn't spoken for awhile and now that can never happen. Sharon was a very private person. I never knew her well even though we spent time together. I always felt she valued her privacy and so I never wanted to pry by asking questions - I just took her as she was. Sharon will always be in my thoughts and prayers, as will Dusty, and I will miss Sharon. She's one more angel God's called home. Sandy Morrie
I am saddened to learn of Sharon's passing. I worked with her in my early years in insurance and enjoyed her friendship very much. I thought of her often since and will have fond memories always. My condolences to her family and friends.
She will be greatly missed in our group of Beta Sigma Phi.
We knew her only as Sharon who was part of our lives as a Neighbor for over twenty years. She always made time to chat with you about community issues or just to have someone to talk to.
Her beloved cat Dusty made frequent visits to our yard mainly to snack on our mice. One time a rescue was required as Dusty somehow ended up on our garage roof and couldn’t get down. Sharon’s love for her companion was apparent as she was distraught with worry. Dusty was safely brought down and Sharon was elated with joy.
We are very sad at her passing and are going to miss her as a friend in our lives.
Sincerely,
Darcy and Lynn Andrietz
