Obituary of Guenther Adolf Haegele

February 8, 1936 – Esslingen, Germany

August 15, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Guenther Haegele, beloved husband of Sophie Haegele, of Calgary, AB, on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at the age of 85 years.

Guenther was born in Esslingen, Germany, to parents Adolf and Anna Haegele. He later immigrated to Canada in 1956. His family will miss the wonderful stories that he used to tell. We will also miss his wicked sense of HUMOR!

Guenther will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sophie, his children, Lily (Mike), and Ben (Samantha); his six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.

A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
