Jeff McLeod of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 38 years. 

Jeff was born in Calgary, Alberta on July 16, 1983.

Jeff loved life; he was the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back even if he didn’t know you. He was the kindest most generous person you could ever meet, his laugh was infectious, making everyone around him smile and laugh along with him. Once you met Jeff, you’d find him hard to forget as his big goofy personality was unforgettable and LOUD! He wore his heart on his sleeve, loved deeply and was loyal to the core. He came across as a tough guy, but he was really a big teddy bear. Jeff’s love for his family was pure and honest, never expecting and needing little in return, if you needed help, he would be the first in line offering a hand. The deepest love Jeff had was for his Mom (big mama) and, Trent (Trently Wently), they meant everything to him. Jeff had a love for animals especially Sophie his childhood pet, as he liked to say, “It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s super doggie Sophie”. Jeff held his friends in the highest regard, he was a true friend and loved to make them laugh. Jeffrey McLeod will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. 

Jeff is survived by his mother Myriame Mcleod of Calgary, father Jiggs (Barb) Mcleod of Medicine Hat, grandmother Grada Dengis of Calgary, brother Trent (Carole) Mcleod of Calgary, nephew Jack Watley of Calgary, niece Molly Watley of Calgary; uncles, Dan (Brenda) Dengis of Okotoks, Terry (Nicole) Dengis of Calgary, Francis (Natasha) Dengis of Calgary; cousins, Leah (Mike) Wollersheim and Shaun (Macey Brown) Dengis of  Okotoks, Stephanie (Kippy) of New Brunswick, Marissa Dengis of Calgary, and Taylor Dengis of Calgary.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at  2:00 p.m.  Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
