John (Jack) Kemp passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
Jack Kemp was born on July 31, 1929 in Welwyn, SK. Jack loved spending time with his family: camping, biking, playing cards, curling and playing horseshoes while he was still able to.
Jack's work life was in the construction industry. He helped build schools, churches, stores and countless business structures in and around Calgary. He was proud to point out the many places he had worked.
Left to mourn is his loving wife of sixty-seven years Jean, daughter Diana (Dave Stewart), grandchildren, Michael (Sarah), and Jessica (Tyler); as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by all his siblings, and brothers and sisters in-laws and a niece.
At Jack's request there will be no service. If friends so desire memorial donation in Jack’s name may be made to a charity of your choice. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
Jack's family wish to thank all the wonderful Home Care Workers that helped Jean care for him and for the great staff at Strathmore Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion.
