Obituary of Reubin DRISNER
July 10, 1929 – Lamont, Alberta
August 19, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta
Rev. Reubin Drisner of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley of 65 years on September 27, 2019.
With Mom at his side, they pastored Alberta churches in Carmangay, Coaldale, Metiskow, Calgary (Ogden and Evangel), and Barrhead. They pastored in Thunder Bay, ON, and in Winnipeg, Brandon, and Carmen, MB. In addition to these Canadian churches they had the opportunity to minister in Africa. They also found great delight in ploughing the spiritual soil in Albania, at an age and time in life when many would have been slowing down.
Reubin is survived and loved greatly by his children, John (Donna) Drisner, Sandra (Bob) Webster, Glenda (Michael) Edworthy, and Sharon (Terry) Froese; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Pastor Drisner’s Memorial Service will be held at Journey Church, (10307 Eamon Road, NW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
