Obituary of Amalia CASELLO

March 15, 1943– August 20, 2021 

Amalia Casello, beloved wife of the late Renato Sr. Casello, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

Amalia was born in San Martino di Finita, Cosenza, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1959, with her beloved husband Renato Casello Sr. 

Amalia is survived by her four children, Cosetta, Ada, Laura (Pietro) and Renato Jr. (Bobbie) all of Calgary; and six grandchildren, Martina (Andrei), Paolo and Arcangelo Sarro and Renato, Amalia and Isabella Casello and one great-grandchildren Niko. She is also survived by her brothers, Pietro and Franco.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. A Family Graveside Service will follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Casello’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service.
