Obituary of Gwen Waunita Weaver

With sadness we announce Gwen Weaver of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at the age of 83 years.

Gwen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Weaver (Shelly Ryan) of White Rock, BC, Beverlee Weaver (Louis Rondeau) of Okotoks, AB, Bonnie Weaver of Calgary, AB, and Barbara Churchill (Robert) of Calgary, AB; and grandchildren, Andrew Churchill of Burnaby, BC, and Nicole Churchill (Cameron DeGraaf) of Airdrie, AB. Gwen also leaves behind her sisters, Betty Graham of Wawanessa, MB, and Joan McTavish (Floyd) of Foxwarren, MB, as well as numerous extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband Wilfred Weaver, and parents, Ruth and Andrew Graham.

Gwen was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

The Celebration of Life scheduled for September 18, 2021, has been postponed.
