Condolences
My first plane ride and my one and only trip to Alberta was with my Grandmother Hilda Benner 60 years ago. We visited Uncle Frank and Aunt Shirley in their new home in Edmonton. My most vivid memory was of potato plants covering the front yards of the new homes in their subdivision instead of lawns. Apparently, the potato plants added nutrients to the soil in preparation for seeding of the lawns.
To Ned, Drew, Janice and families, we are so sorry for the loss of your father/grandfather. Keep your good memories of your father alive in your hearts.

Frank and Shirley were such wonderful, godly friends. We thank the Lord for them both and the special times we had together. Our love to you Ned, Drew, Janice and your families.
Ned, Drew, Janice and family, Thank you for sharing the memories of your dad online. The funeral was heartfelt and the message clear, you had a great father. For us at home, we will always remember your dad (Uncle Frank) as a gentle man with a great heart who loved you all very much. He was so proud! We will miss him and his visits. Thinking of you all at this difficult time!
Uncle Frank was a kind and friendly man, with a wonderful sense of humor. He was especially engaging of us young kids and ready to teach a lesson, like when he shaved my brother's arm to demonstrate his new electric razor. I wanted mine done too! We will miss Uncle Frank birthday look forward to seeing him in heaven. Our Condolences to the whole family
