Obituary of Janet Crichton

Janet Crichton of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 75years.

Janet was born and raised in Calgary and worked at Imperial Oil and also worked as a Unit Clerk at the Foothills Hospital for many years.  Janet loved to volunteer at St. Jude and St. Thomas Aquinas schools, guiding and reading to the young children was her passion and it gave her great joy.  

Janet was an active member in her Campbell-Stone United Church Community and their love and support over the years was a great blessing for her.  She enjoyed visiting after church and having lunch with her friends.

Janet was very proud of her Scottish heritage, and she was able to visit Scotland where her Grandparents were born.

Janet loved the holidays and especially Christmas time, she enjoyed spending time with her cousin and family, Sandra Hay (nee) Malcolm, who cared for her for many years. 

Janet is lovingly remembered by her family and many dear friends, she will be truly missed.  Janet was predeceased by her father, Alexander Crichton, her mother, Helen Crichton (nee) Graham and cousin, William Malcolm.
