Obituary of Christiane DATTILIO (nee Nykamp)

Christiane Dattilio beloved wife of Gerry Dattilio of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the age of 62 years.

Christiane was born in Germany and came to Canada at the age of 2. She lived most of her life in Montreal, prior to moving to Calgary in 1997. She was an active member of the New Apostolic Church, where she loved to sing and direct the choir. Christiane loved Gerry, her husband of forty years, her children and especially her grandchildren, Presley and Quintin. Christiane lived every day to the fullest and was grateful for every day. 

Besides her loving husband Gerry, Christiane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Kevin Hadden and Gordon Dattilio, two grandchildren, Presley and Quintin. Christiane is also survived by three brothers, Wilfred (Ilse), Fred (Brigitte) and Erwin (Fran); two sisters, Roswitha and Irene.

Funeral services will be held at New Apostolic Church (133 Rainbow Falls Drive, Chestermere, AB), on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed here.
