Obituary of Joan Elizabeth Lapidus
April 11, 1934 - Sackville, New Brunswick
September 1, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta
Joan Lapidus, (nee Gaudet), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 87 years.
Joan was born and raised in Sackville, NB. She joined the RCAF where she met her husband. They started their family in Quebec and relocated to Calgary in 1965, where Joan has resided since. Joan was a proud life time member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #1.
Joan is survived by two daughters Nancy Lapidus and Lisa Lapidus, her son and daughter-in-law Jay Lapidus and Laurie Coopersmith; four grandchildren John Lapidus, Jordain Lapidus, Bryce Mislenovich and Hailey Mislenovich.
She was predeceased her brother and sisters.
There will be a celebration of Joan’s life on a date to be announced later at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #1 (116 – 7th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB) Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
