Obituary of Christine Marie Atkinson

December 25, 1957 – Toronto, Ontario
September 3, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Christine Atkinson (Chris), beloved wife of Bruce Atkinson, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, at the age of 63 years.

Chris would say her greatest accomplishments were her children whom she loved and cherished unconditionally.  She was always there for everyone in their times of need.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren filling her heart with happiness.  Her feisty personality kept all of us on our toes and laughing, she definitely walked to the beat of her own drum. In Chris's spare time her thrill was to yell BINGO, color and paint beautiful pictures for her loved ones.  She also enjoyed traveling to BC to visit her dear friend Sandie (Wally). 

Besides her loving husband, Chris will be dearly missed by her children, Geoff (Tina), Nicolle (Jon), Randy (Donna), and Donna (Wade); grandchildren, Daymien, Jordan, Brendan, Zachary, Austin, Hailey, Kalvin (Dani), James, Zackary, Parker, Miikka, Allexis, Lincoln and Chase; and great-grandchildren, Maximillan and Matthew.  She is also survived by her four-legged companions, Toby and Maggie.

A Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
