Obituary of Peter James Van Dalen

May 13, 1963 – Toronto, Ontario
September 5, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Suddenly, because of complications arising from diabetes with which he had struggled for many years, our Peter went to be with his Lord and Saviour to live with Him forever on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at the age of 58 years. 

Peter loved the outdoors, enjoying hiking and camping in the mountains and also took great pride in tending his flower garden. 

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Rennie and Tina Van Dalen, his brother Robert (Rehana); and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel United Reformed Church, (730, 101 Street SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow at the church.  Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.

Our most sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to the EMS paramedics and Fire Department officers who cared for and assisted Peter on so many occasions over the years.
