Scott George

Obituary of Scott Ronald William George

November 25, 1969 – Regina, Saskatchewan
September 8, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Our hearts are broken as we say our goodbyes to our very loving son, Scott. He was born on November 25, 1969 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Scott obtained his degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 1996. He worked in numerous banking positions but was most happy working at his present job at Mark’s Commercial Small Business Group where he had many kind and helpful colleagues and customers. Scott loved participating in and watching sports, especially the Arizona Cardinals. He knew all the names of professional athletes and their stats, from hockey to football to baseball; they were a great source of entertainment to him. He was very active in the hockey community, cheering on his son Nathan.

He will be greatly missed by his pride and joy, son Nathaniel and daughter Mikaela. He leaves behind their mother Natasha, and his canine companion Boston. He will be forever loved and missed by his parents, Ron and Leni; brother Mark (Dana); sister Shari (Craig), nieces and nephew, Mandi (Dylan), Robyn (Marco), and Michael; Aunt Bev and Uncle Al and family; Aunt Linda and Uncle Brian and family; and Aunt Ruth and family.

A Funeral Service will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

Ron and Leni, Scott’s parents, would like to thank so many for their expressions of compassion and kindness at this most difficult time.   If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14th Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 Telephone: (403) 264-5549, www.heartandstroke.ca.
