I first met Ken almost 15 years ago as we moved into our new home next door to Heather and Trevor. I remember Ken out there with Luke and Trevor building our fence for us. We also shared many bbq dinners together and he was always such a lovely man. Our condolences to Millie , Heather ,Trevor and family. XO
I first met Ken in the late 90's when I joined Imperial as a young and nervous Sales Rep. He was nothing but professional, gracious and a real gentleman that first meeting and every meeting thereafter. I will remember him fondly.
On behalf of myself, the Poissant family and everyone at Imperial that knew Ken our sincerest condolences to the entire family.

I got to know Ken while I was employed by the Alberta Funeral Service Association. His friendly co-operative spirit designated him as a true professional. He was always willing to share his knowledge and along with his honesty and integrity, presented a sincere regard for the personhood of those he served. Rest in peace Ken.

We were in Red Deer the early part of August this year and enjoyed going for lunch with Ken and Mille. This is how we choose to remember Ken…..always up for a spirited conversation about politics, enjoying a good joke, and general sharing of family and friends experiences. What a great gentleman he was and we are proud to call him our “friend”. He will be missed by us and by many others.
I'm very sorry for your loss.I was just talking to Ken a few weeks ago.I called him up last year for the first time in several years and we had a good conversation then, and a good conversation again a few weeks ago. We talked and laughed and shared stories about our lives when Ken and my dad were partners back in the 60s and 70s.
I remember Ken and dad sharing a jet ski boat and snowmobiles and going boating and snowmobiling together. And I remember them building motorhomes out in a garage in Penhold. They also considered rebuilding an old houseboat that they brought back from B.C. Ken and my dad always had lots of fun recreational things on the go which were great for our families. We spent lots of happy times together at Sylvan Lake and in Red Deer.
Ken was always supportive and was quick with a kind comment. He was a great conversationalist and I enjoyed his stories. Ken had a contagious laugh and he was fun to be around.
I hope to see him again in heaven.
iam so for your lost and your pain my thought and prayer with you and your family from dorothy putnam and mae my daugther
Ken came to work for my Dad when he was 18 and I was just 5; my Dad and him developed a strong bond and became business partners. Ken was a frequent guest at our breakfast table, and I have fond memories of him and Dad sharing stories, a good hearty laugh, and planning out their day together. Over the years Ken became like family.
Dad and him shared a boat together, built a motorhome, and often had a project on the go. They enjoyed each other’s company and often enjoyed waterskiing and snowmobiling together.
After my Dad’s passing, Ken served as a family historian sharing stories of him and keeping his memory and spirit alive.
My brothers and I are very saddened to hear of his passing, and send our condolences to Ken’s family. We will remember him with a big warm smile on his face; heaven gained a new angel.
Rest In Peace, Ken.
