Obituary of Keith Raymond Duncan

Keith Duncan, beloved husband of Diana Duncan (nee Chomick), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the age of 84 years.
Keith was born in Calgary, AB, on April 30, 1937. He enjoyed being Santa at Christmas time and in his spare time was a trucker, worked for Woodward’s delivery, and drove a taxi. Keith loved his hockey and was a major fan of the Calgary Stampeders and Calgary Flames. He enjoyed sharing his passion of sports with his son Russ. He loved travelling and went on several bus tour trips every year. One of his favorite trips was touring Texas for 28 days. Keith took pride in taking care of his family; it was his top priority, even his extended family. He will be remembered most for his smile, his love of family, his humor and his boyish charm.
Besides his loving wife of 46 years, Diana, Keith is survived by his sons, Russ (Shauna) and David; grandchildren, Michael, Cody, and Derick; three great-grandchildren, nephews, Tim, Jeff (Tara), and Richard (Janet); niece Tamara and family, brother-in-law Orest and his sons, David and Stephen; brother-in-law Ted (Sharon); sister-in-law Iris (Bob); niece Alicia and her sons, Logan and Teklyn; nephew Aaron (Amber) and their daughter Addison; niece Jenn (Jason); and nephews Wyatt and Oliver. Keith was predeceased by his brother Barry, and sister Jean.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Special thank you to all the staff at Rocky View Hospital for their support and care over his battle of illnesses of 33 years, and to all the wonderful nurses that provided home care.
