Obituary of Lolita Remoroza

July 24, 1954 – Lucena City, Philippines

September 20, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

We are sad to annouce that Lolita S. Remoroza of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

Lolita was born in Lucena City, Philippines on July 24, 1954 to Amando and Constancia Rmoroza. Lolita graduated with a degree in midwifery in the early 80s. She left the country to work in Italy eight years before imigrating to Canada in 1989. She was caring and selfless to others in need of her help. She helped families with child care, gave her time to group homes and assisted individuals battling Epilepsy. Lolita’s culinary abilities was exceptional. She had preprared many great dishes, enjoyed by family and friends on numerous occassions.

She is survived by her brother Amando Remoroza Jr. (Letty) and her sister Milagros. She is also survived by her brothers, Napoleon (Maria) Beatrize, and Danilo (Maria) Corazon; grandchildren here in Canada and in the Philippines, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Khosla, Dr. Sarah Glaze, and Dr. Laal, and the many nurses and other personnel involved in her care at the day care unit of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. A special thank you note to the family’s dear friend Terry Tongacan for all the love, support and care she has given us during those trying times.
