September 21, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta
Michelle Lukas of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, and was joyfully reunited with her mother, Sandra Jensen who she has missed greatly and her grandmother Avis Carr who she held close to her heart.
She leaves behind her children Braydon, Emrey and Hadley Lukas who she expressed great pride and adoration every day. She was also survived by her much loved brother Dean (Robin) Jensen; her father Richard Jensen; her nieces Candice Barton, Kelsey Reich, Jennalee Jensen, Riley Jensen, Jordy Chapman; and her nephew Caleb Chapman.
Michelle is remembered as a mother who fiercely loved her children and a free spirit who enjoyed travel. Her generosity and nonjudgmental nature were unparalleled as was her kind heart and propensity to champion the underdog. These qualities made her both a wonderful friend and empathetic member of the healthcare industry. The world is a better place because Michelle was in it and she will forever be missed.
Michelle’s Celebration of Life will be a small private gathering on Thursday, September 30. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
