Kenneth Lionel Roberts passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the age of 79 years in his Calgary home. In his final weeks, he was surrounded by loving family and friends, both at his side and from afar, and attended to by caring health-care workers.
Ken was born on December 1, 1941 to Bert and Matilda Roberts and grew up in Nanton, AB. Throughout his life, he enjoyed camping and fishing in Canada’s wilderness and stayed connected with his roots by helping out at his sister’s ranch. He also experienced the wider world through travels across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
