Obituary of Jeannine Morin

April 4, 1935 – St. Boniface, Manitoba
September 26, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Jeannine Morin (nee Landry), on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 86 years.

Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, she moved to numerous cities and towns to end her years in Calgary.  Jeannine was a member and volunteer of the Hillhurst Go-Getters. She so much enjoyed the friends she made there and often talked about the activities they did together. 

She will be remembered as a kind and loving person and by her friendship and the happy smiley faces she gave to everyone. Those who know her know what this means.

Jeannine is survived by two brothers, Gerald Landry of Edmonton, Gilles Landry (Susan Gardner) of Winnipeg; sister, Lorraine Cloutier (Gilbert) of Winnipeg; sister-in-law, Doris Morin, Winnipeg; as well as numerous nephews and nieces, cousins, and a long list of wonderful and caring friends that she treasured.
 
Jeannine was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Morin, mother Anna Landry (nee St. Onge), father Camille Landry, mother-in-law Rosalie Morin, father-in-law Emile Morin, brother-in-law Tony Morin, sisters-in-law, Hectorine, Lucie Morin, and Claire Landry; and her nephew Andre Morin.

Rest in peace Jeannine…we love you so much.

Respecting Jeannine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral mass and celebration of her life is planned with family by invitation only, in Winnipeg, at a later date. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here. The family would like to thank everyone who brought her meals, visited her, and spent time with her and for showing her you cared. A special thank you to Betty and Al Woelk for all you did for Jeannine, driving and going to her many appointments with her.
