Margaret (Marge) Yeryk, beloved wife of Glen Yeryk of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 71 years.

Marge and Glen met in high school in 1967 and were married in 1972. Marge was born and raised in the small town of Vita, Manitoba on May 9, 1950 to parents, John and Nellie. She enjoyed Ukrainian dance and other cultural activities and crafts. Upon graduating from high school, Marge pursued a career in retail until the birth of her son, Michael. She then dedicated her life to caring for her family and doing charitable work associated with the school and other community events.

Marge enjoyed golf, travel, sewing, cooking and baking. Her favorite times of the year were the festive seasons where she showcased her many talents. She especially enjoyed meeting and conversing with her family and friends.

Besides her loving husband, Marge is survived by her two sons, two daughters-in-law and one granddaughter. Michael; Sachie and Sana of Chiba, Japan; Christopher and Myriem of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Marge is also survived by two sisters, Judy and Angela; brother, Barry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and John and her older sister, Shirley. 

Currently, no memorial service is planned due to various Covid protocols. She preferred to have a memorial where people could freely mingle and travel. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to a charity of your choice.
