Obituary of Brenda Louise DOUGLAS

September 16, 1961 – Kerrobert, Saskatchewan January 9, 2018 – Calgary, Alberta It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, with Brenda’s family by her side at the age of 56 years. Brenda was born in Kerrobert to Joseph and Beatrice Borschneck and raised in Alsask. She attended Westcliffe Composite School in Marengo. Brenda married her soul mate, Lloyd Douglas on September 14, 1991 in Calgary. Together they raised two wonderful daughters, MacKenzie and Alexis. Brenda began her career at Scotiabank in Lloydminster which eventually brought her to Calgary. She then pursued a very successful career with Jayman Financial as Vice President. Brenda was a dedicated loving mom and wife. She enjoyed her time at their cabin in Invermere where she spent the majority of her summers. Brenda was a social butterfly who loved being around people, dancing, laying in the sun, and always wanted in on the action. She will be remembered for her professionalism, style, and her great taste in shoes. Brenda is survived by her husband, Lloyd Douglas; her daughters, MacKenzie Douglas, Alexis Douglas; her sisters, Audrey Steiert, Sharon (Jan-Mark) Gustafson, JoAnn Borschneck; her brothers, Lloyd (Gail), Ralph (Moira), Gerald (Annette), and Greg (Linda); and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Brenda was predeceased by her parents and many beloved family members. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
