Condolences
Doug will be missed by his Dental Family at Strathcona Dental Works! May the fond memories you have keep him close in your heart always!
Our thoughts are with you, Mrs Richardson and family.
Mr Richardson was such a kind, genuine man with a welcoming hug and warm smile always.
We always loved the friendship - you both had with Mitch. Take care
Love and hugs,

As the only Canadian kid, and being from Calgary, on the staff at Camelback Golf Club in Arizona, I really got to know the Richardsons. Then found out the connection at Canyon Meadows with Nola and Tom, and then the entire Oil Industry in Calgary as well. He was a good man and I am going to miss him.
I will miss my daily conversations with Doug. It was a pleasure getting to know you over the past 13 years. My condolences to Frances and the family.
I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Doug. Although geography and life have kept me not going the Calgary area for decades, I think of you all regularly. So sorry to hear of his passing....love and hugs to Auntie Fran, Nola, Josie, Laura, Sharon and families. Love you all xoxo
Our Thoughts and Prayers for Doug and Fran's Family. Doug was with out a doubt a leader in our Oil Industry. He was the greatest gentlemen anyone could hope to work for. He saw qualities and leadership in his employees that many of us didn't know we had. Thank you to Doug and Pat Shouldice for the successes I have realized in my career. To his Family and Friends, remember the good times and all the stories. Doug set the Bar for working hard and having fun. I will never forget those Christmas phone calls from Doug.

Sending our Deepest Condolences to Fran , the Family and Friends of Mr. Doug Richardson.
The loss of this Incredible Man has left heavy hearts around the World , from business suppliers , customers and most of all his Forever Employees!
Doug Richardson has left an unimaginable Respectable Legacy that has not been duplicated around the World . Every Employee not only knew his name but were positively and Loyally impacted when we all had personally met him or spoke pon the phone . His style was one of a kind , his handshake was firm and his word was his honour . I’m sure there was one word in his vocabulary not used , that was the word “ Can’t “ , to get something accomplished , whether it was an equipment design , Laboratory development or some type of competitive edge over our Competitors .
Doug give All of his Employees the opportunity to develop themselves, the “Sky was the Limit “, to be a MultiService Equipment Operator , Supervisor, Base Manager , Nationally or Internationally and made you feel Damn Proud of it to put those Red Coveralls on 24/7 .
I have to Thank both , Doug and Pat , for allowing us all the Privilege of being an Employee and being a part in the Legacy of NOWSCO WELL SERVICE ! Farewell & May you both Rest In Peace

Dear Francis; sincere condolences from Kari and I for your loss. Your long life together is a testament to love and friendship carefully nurtured and protected; and perhaps, on occasion, fought for.
DAR was a man of extraordinary principle and dedication to those of us at Nowsco who counted on his guidance. For me personally, he stepped un-knowing into the shoes of the father I had lost too soon. It was a privilege work so many years under the tutelage of man who taught me that ethics could be a way of life. In one memorable moment he simply said, "we don't do business that way". I know I stand among many who mourn the loss of a great leader.
Doug was a great guy loved his fun loving guy did a great job & his employees all loved him & he is going to be missed & my deepest sympathy to the family and all his friends
