Obituary of Brent William Hertlein
January 13, 1965 – Sudbury, Ontario
October 7, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta
Brent Hertlein, beloved husband of Arlene Hertlein (nee Stoley), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the age of 56 years.
Brent was born in Sudbury, ON, on January 13, 1965 and raised in Nanaimo, B.C. He attended UBC where he obtained his Bachelor of Business, which he used as a Business Manager in sales. He was an active member of the Hornets Rugby team in Nanaimo, an Ambassador for the Calgary Stampeders and volunteered for the Calgary Stampede. Brent was a Disney Vacation Club Member, Seattle Seahawks fan, and Stampeders fan. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids, family vacations, fishing, and spending time with his many friends. Brent will be remembered for his love of family and loyalty to friends.

Besides his loving wife Arlene, Brent is survived by his son Mac, and daughter Abby. Brent also leaves behind his father Marty Hertlein, his sister Brenda Krastel, and beloved pets Nala and Taz. Brent was predeceased by his mother Vicky Hertlein on May 20, 2020.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
