Obituary of Tricia Lynn Fields

September 24, 1969 - London, Ontario

October 12, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

Tricia Fields, former but beloved wife of Warren Fields, of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the age of 52 years.

Tricia was a homemaker and very proud of her children; she had a deep passion for bible studies and creative writing. As a child Tricia grew up in Airdrie, AB until 1982 when her family sold the farm and moved to Winnipeg. Tricia enjoyed spending time at her family cottage on West Hawk Lake and loved to be in the mountains. She will always be remembered by those around her for an infectious laugh and being able to light up a room.

Tricia is survived by her children, Ethan and Kailie of Calgary, AB; parents, Len and Diane DeFehr of Winnipeg, MB; brother John DeFehr of Kelowna, BC; sisters, Jennifer DeFehr of Winnipeg, MB and Julianne (Andrew) Aitken of Winnipeg, MB; many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

A Celebration of Tricia’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

In living memory of Tricia Fields, a tree will be planted in the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area near Spruce Meadows.
