To the Zen family. I cannot express my sincere condolences.
Pete and I got to know each other because he offered to help with my car.
Pete was caring, funny and sweet guy who always had a positive thing to say. We would be sitting in his garage drinking coffee and working on my car or his truck and We did a lot of walking in Bowness park. It was a pleasure to know you Pete. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

Dave and Mark,
I am so sorry to hear this news. I have many fond memories of hanging out in the basement on Cheyenne Crescent listening to Dave’s records, while Pete was studying or working on his computer. Pete was so smart; I remember him explaining to me how the computer “talked” via the phone connection (It was the 80s after all). Pete had a kind heart and will be missed.

I lived with Pete in our early 20's for a short period of time... we shared many laughs together. Pete was a formidable chess player who helped me to understand the game and strategies on a deeper level and had I continued playing as I aged, I hoped one day to kick his ass. Memories of Peter that have stuck with me over these many years were his kind nature and unpretentious approach to everyone he met and interacted with; a very thoughtful soul. While it has been many, many years since I have seen Pete, I am sorry to hear of his passing and I know he will be well missed by all his friends and family. Rest in peace Pete.
