Obituary of June Raymond (nee Marchuk)

1943 - St. Boniface, Manitoba

2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with profound sorrow that we must announce the passing of June Raymond, of Calgary, AB, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the age of 78 years.

June was born in St. Boniface, MB in 1943 to Nettie and David Marchuk, and raised in Meleb, MB. She embraced the opportunities to live in Kenya and Indonesia and was passionate about her involvement with the charity “Hold Me Africa” and her volunteerism with Agape Hospice. June’s positive attitude carried her throughout her life. We will fondly remember her phrase “other than cancer, I’m pretty healthy.”

June is survived by her daughter Terri (Ian) Raymond of Mount Albert, ON.
