Obituary of Blaine Merlin Love

Blaine Love, beloved husband of Doreen, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 76 with his beloved wife Doreen by his side.

Blaine was born in Vulcan, AB on May 14, 1945. Blaine and Doreen were married in Kelowna, BC in 1970. He loved music, reading, photography and the couple enjoyed many memorable vacations throughout the 51 years of their marriage. Blaine was a very creative person and he showed this in the many poems that he wrote. They were witty and clever and if you were lucky enough, he would write a very personal poem about you. Blaine was a very gentle soul and this was evident in his dealing with people throughout his work and his many friends.

Blaine is survived by his wife Doreen and sister Madeline; and will be missed by his nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
