Obituary of Dragica Domić (née Mustapić)

October 18, 1942 - Lovreć, Croatia 
October 29, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that the family of Dragica “Darlene” Domić (née Mustapić) announce her sudden passing on Friday, October 29, 2021, at the age of 79. 

Dragica was born on October 18, 1942, in Lovreć, Croatia. On May 19,1962 she married Ante and together they created a beautiful family and built a wonderful life in Calgary, AB. Dragica was a loving person who enjoyed being surrounded by her friends and family. Anyone who knew Dragica was touched by her kindness, gentle smile and easy-going nature.  

Dragica will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Vilko (Kara) and Davor (Katherina); six grandchildren, Drina, Dane, Teo, Maia, Marin and Mila; sister Đena Bekavac; as well as numerous extended family members and friends in Canada and Croatia. 

Dragica was predeceased by her husband Ante Domić; mother Mila Mustapić; in- laws Ivan and Anka Domić; sister Marija Mustapić; and brothers-in-law; Vlado Mustapić, Ivan Bekavac, Jure, Pero, and Fra. Dušan Domić; three nephews, Ivica, Srečko, and Miljenko Mustapić; and her cousin Jozo Milinović.

A Private Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Church (14680 Deer Ridge Drive SE, Calgary, AB), on Friday, November 5, 2021. Family Graveside Service to follow in Lovreć, Croatia at a later date.
